Xi'an Expo 2011

The World Horticultural Expo 2011 will be held in Xi'an (Shaanxi Province, China), from April 28 to October 22, 2011.
World Horticulture Exposition is an influential international event with a long history of 160 years. Since the first World Horticulture Exposition was held in London in 1851, over 30 sessions have been celebrated in many a metropolis across the world.
It is a great event for both travelers and garden lovers.
Background: World Horticultural Expos In China
Two cities in China have hosted international horticultural exposition. Kunming (Yunnan Province) hosted the event back in 1999.Shenyang (Liaoning Province) then hosted the event in 2006.

The Xian Expo is based on a pattern of "two circles, two axes, and five groups".

Five New Beijing Subway Lines

The Daxing Line will connect the Daxing District south of the city to the main urban area. The Daxing Line starts at Majialou which is the south end of Line 4 and goes through Nanyuan area in Fengtai District, Xihongmen area in Daxing District, Daxing New Town and ends at Nanzhao Lu, with a total length of about 22.2 km.

The Yizhuang Line starts at Songjiazhuang where it connects Line 5 and Line 10 and ends at Yizhuang Railway Station, with of total length of 23 km.

The Shunyi Line (phase one of Line 15) connects Shunyi New Town and downtown Beijing. It runs from Wangjiang Xi Station to Sanyu Station with 9 stops.
